It wasn't that they just didn't want to learn about history. As I stated, my daughter said they didn't want to learn about anything that was going on in the world around them, such as the racial terrorism & police brutality that resulted in the killing of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Tamir Rice, and others. Tamir Rice was the exact same age my daughter & her friends were when he was killed. So they should have cared.
